National Gardening Week

May 4, 2023

Royal Horticultural Society’s National Gardening Week is back this year with a royal theme🤴

The theme for 2023 is ‘create your coronation container’ which encourages people to get hands on and plant colourful flower displays in celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation.

Why not include these flowers in your celebratory containers if you'd like to get involved?

🌺Feature His Majesty in the form of his favourite flower, the delphinium. Commonly known as Larkspurs, the delphinium is renowned for its rich colour and will be sure to flower all summer.

🌺Geraniums are perfect for traditional bedding displays or growing in hanging baskets. Pair this flower with other plants such as lavender for a vibrant finish.

Head over to the Royal Horticultural Society for some excellent guides on how to plant containers, hanging baskets and more.
